Strategies for Resolving the Impact of Post Traumatic Stress Workshop

ANXIETY - Practical Intervention Strategies

While every person experiences anxiety, it is estimated that over a quarter of the population will experience anxiety at levels that cause distress in their lives. Participants will explore the natural purpose of anxiety and how it can become 'disordered,' including the link with panic, depression, trauma and other health concerns. The main focus of the workshop will be to learn practical and accessible strategies to assist both adults and children in reducing anxiety.

WORKSHOP FEE: Early rate - $160 + HST; Regular rate - $190 + HST


TRAUMA - Strategies for Resolving the Impact of Post Traumatic Stress
Toronto: February 16-17, 2012 (limited seating still available)
Ottawa: February 23-24, 2012 (early rate deadline Thursday, February 2)
London: February 23-24, 2012 (early rate deadline Thursday, February 2)

This workshop provides an overview of the way trauma impacts a person through the brain and nervous system and how it can result in longer term symptoms at physical, psychological and emotional levels. A framework is presented for assisting people to work toward regulating and resolving the impact of trauma. Key strategies and principles are explored that apply to a diverse range of impacts in children, adolescents and adults.

WORKSHOP FEE: Early rate - $295 + HST; Regular rate - $355 + HST
